The U.S. military continues the blockade of Iranian ports.
U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) Commander Admiral Brad Cooper reported that the U.S. military intercepted Iranian cruise missiles and drones on Monday. He said that the U.S. responded by attacking seven Iranian boats. President Trump’s Project Freedom was launched that day to assist vessels that have been trapped in the gulf since the outset of the conflict with Iran.
The United Arab Emirates confirmed that Iran had attacked the Fujairah oil exporting zone with a drone. It is the first attack by Iran on its Arab neighboring states since the ceasefire was announced nearly a month ago. Iran also reportedly attacked a South Korean cargo ship near the Strait of Hormuz on Monday.
“Iran has taken some shots at unrelated Nations with respect to the Ship Movement, PROJECT FREEDOM, including a South Korean Cargo Ship,” President Trump stated, inviting South Korea to “join the mission.”
“We’ve shot down seven small Boats or, as they like to call them, ‘fast’ Boats. It’s all they have left. Other than the South Korean Ship, there has been, at this moment, no damage going through the Strait,” the president continued, adding that Secretary Hegseth and General Caine, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, would hold a news conference Tuesday morning.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Admiral Cooper, U.S. military leaders, and Armed Forces personnel serving in the Middle East.
- For wisdom for President Trump, Secretary Hegseth, and General Caine as they evaluate the situation with Iran and the next steps in the conflict.
